Our unique process of displaying our assembled tops for you to select and then our efficiencies in managing the finishing process allows us to have custom tables completed in 12-14 weeks.
Reclaimed American Chestnut is unique and special for so many reasons. It is hard to find, chestnut was wiped out by a blight in the early 1900's and is basically only available being reclaimed from old barns and structures- Own a piece of history! The wood grain and warm colors make chestnut a premier table choice- patina and colors that time and nature have provided.
We also offer Reclaimed, Antique White Pine. There are two thicknesses available:
"Thick Pine"- approx. 1 1/2" to 2" in thickness
"Regular Pine"- approximately 1" in thickness
Reclaimed pine has a rich patina that only time and nature can create. Colors can be brown, golden or reddish naturally.
Black Walnut makes a striking table with its dark, rich brown coloring with optional use of boards with some blond streaking.
Approx. 1 1/4" to 1 3/8" in thickness
Black walnut is sourced from trees (not reclaimed from old structures like the Chestnut and White Pine). Since it doesn't have the rustic character of reclaimed wood with nail holes and aged patina, it can be more suitable for more of a modern look or more formal design. It pairs well with one of our metal base options or a black painted wood base. Colors can be brown, chocolate with optional blond streaking.
We have a unique rolling rack display system where you can easily view a selection of table tops, then pick the specific one for your table! We then trim and finish to your specifications so you have an Heirloom Table unique to you.
We focus on antique, reclaimed woods that have character and color that time and nature has provided for over a hundred years of being in buildings. Our go-to table top finish is a spar urethane finish. This provides a superior level of moisture protection to your table- no need for coasters or worries about water marks, olive oil, vinegar or red wine.
The selection of your base is what can make your Heirloom Table truly unique. This allows for using a rustic top with a modern base for a "Rustic/Modern Table" or other variations for your specific taste.
