Reclaimed, American Chestnut- Our Signature Table
Reclaimed American Chestnut is unique and special for so many reasons. It is hard to find, chestnut was wiped out by a blight in the early 1900's and is basically only available being reclaimed from old barns and structures built 100-200 years ago- Own a piece of history! The wood grain and warm colors make chestnut a premier table choice- patina and colors that time and nature have provided. Our table finishing is another point that sets us apart- we utilize a spar urethane finish for exceptional moisture protection. You can leave a glass of water on it all day and overnight, no water marks. Our rule is that if you can safely consume it (ex. ketchup, mustard, olive oil...) then it's safe on the table. America Chestnut Tables are available in live edge or straight edge.

Our unique process of displaying our assembled tops for you to select and then our efficiencies in managing the finishing process allows us to have custom tables completed in 8-12 weeks, time varies based on current custom orders.
Black Walnut and Hickory- Now Available in our Heirloom "Ready" Tables
Black Walnut makes a striking table with its dark, rich brown coloring with optional use of boards with some blond streaking.
Approx. 1 1/2" in thickness
Black walnut is sourced from trees (not reclaimed from old structures like the Chestnut and White Pine). Since it doesn't have the rustic character of reclaimed wood with nail holes and aged patina, it can be more suitable for more of a modern look or more formal design. It pairs well with one of our metal base options or a black painted wood base. Colors can be brown, chocolate with optional blond streaking.
Hickory has a much lighter color than the walnut and is available similar to the walnut specifications above. Both Walnut and Hickory available in limited quantities, sizes and options.
